I am going to call the CON later and ask if they have any statistics regarding waitlisted people. Hopefully they don't totally crush the small amount of hope I have left :)

I got an email too, and it was a rejection letter! I'm a little upset, but they included this message which gives me a bit of hope: "At this time, we cannot offer you admission into our program; however, we would like to place you on a waiting list for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program as we consider you a competitive candidate. You have been identified among only a small, select number of outstanding applicants for this opportunity." Do they tell this to every applicant they reject? Or did they only tell that to a few people?

What were your stats? Like GPA and HESI scores??

Congratulations! Did anyone else get an acceptance email? Has anyone gotten a rejection one?

This waiting is really starting to bother me. I am applying for the Traditional program and was initially told they would have the decision made by October 1. I called them yesterday and now the deadline is November 1?? Why is it taking them so long? I wish they could give us some kind of communication as to the people they are for sure not accepting yet; or at the very least tell us how far they are through the application process. This has all been very vague and I am getting tired of the waiting.

I also got the fingerprint email. Does anyone feel like that indicates that those who got the email more than likely made it past the first round or are at least more likely to get accepted? I feel like the University would not want to spend money on all the applicants doing background checks to only admit 24 in the end.

Hello all, thank you for taking the time to read this! I am hoping to be a Nursing student in the Spring of 2017 and the last thing I need to do before applying is to take my HESI-A2 test! I need some advice from some of you all who have already taken the test and can help alleviate some of my fears. 1. What is the testing environment like? I understand it is taken on the computer, but how was the place you took it at? Did you take the test at the same time as other people, or were you on your own? Was the proctor looking over your shoulder the whole time, or much more relaxed and leaving you to focus? 2. The schools I'm appplying to do not require the Physics, Biology, or Chemistry sections for admission. Do I still have to complete those sections on the test? Or can I skip them, since my schools do not require those three sections? 3. Did you feel rushed? I have done some practice tests and keep finishing quite early.. I am worried that the real test will feel much quicker, is that true? 4. Is is true that the anatomy sections this year contain a lot more questions about hormones and the endocrine system? MY A&P prof told me that, but I wanted to get a second opinion. Thanks!!
