  1. Good luck to everyone who has interviews! I graduate in December and was wondering if anyone would be willing to private message me! I have a couple of questions I would love to pick someone's brain about :) thank you!!
  2. ACCEPTED AT 4:09!!!!!!!!
  3. I received mine too but it says El Paso...... does yours beccatap?
  4. *NOT ABOUT RECEIVING AN EMAIL* I'm going to stay at my current apartment in Northlake.
  5. Maybe.... still seems a little sketch
  6. I really don't see why they would tell someone if they got accepted or not based on that person telling them they have other interviews. An interview is just an interview, it doesn't necessarily mean anything anyway. I'm going to try calling tomorrow morning and see if it works for me!
  7. I don't actually think it's funny.... I find it quite odd, honestly.
  8. It was kml95.. he/she took it off lol
  9. If I don't have it by Friday I may email.
  10. If they're smart they'll send out emails about 5:00 p.m. on Friday to avoid hundreds of phone calls/emails.....
  11. She said they won't send out acceptance letters until the application deadline closes (November 1).
  12. i submitted my application back in August and had an interview like 2 days after :)
  13. The acceptance email I got from Elizabeth about Merlin said it could take 2-3 weeks and it's only been 1 week and 1 day. I probably wouldn't worry if you haven't gotten yours yet. I'm in the same boat! :)
  14. If you accept and pay the $100 fee, all that's doing is saving your "seat". It's not like a binding contract or anything, and if you do end up going to UTT all you have to do is kindly let TTU know that unfortunately your plans have changed and you will not be attending. It's really no biggie.
  15. I submitted my application July 18 and received notification that it was processed on September 12
  16. It's officially been a month since application deadline!!!! Eeeeeeekkk! I bet we find out last week of September or first week of October!
  17. Hi everyone! I applied and interviewed for Dallas, but accepted an offer in Abilene and just got my acceptance email! :) Goodluck to everyone!!!
  18. Actually, I just called to confirm, and that is incorrect. You are not certified after your first semester, and you have to do it on your own if you want to become certified.
  19. Really??? That's awesome. How'd you find that out? I've never seen that advertised anywhere on their site, or on past threads. Glad I didn't go and pay $700 for a class, if that's the case.
  20. Idk where you're located, but there are a ton of locations around the DFW area that offer the training. Another program I applied to requires you have it before starting their program, that's the only reason I am familiar with it. Just google "CNA classes in 'your location'" and you should be able to find something. Most classes are 4-8 weeks and require 40 or so clinical hours before taking the certification test. I've heard it's really helpful to have for nursing school, too.
  21. Is anyone planning on getting their CNA certification? I understand that it's not required, but I am wondering if it'll be helpful once summer rolls around and we're looking for jobs....? Thoughts?
  22. Sophie, don't lose hope!!!
  23. I don't think I have either....I'm kind of concerned that I deleted it, but I can't find it so I just don't know!!! I applied to Denton!
