  1. The PVT trick does work! I found out yesterday morning I passed!!!! I think Kaplan does help prepare you, with all the questions. and rationals. I found NCLEX questions to be less difficult than Kaplan. I have also heard very good things about Uworld and LaCharity, but mostly from here. Everyone I know uses Kaplan and passes. Just do the questions and read all the rationals Kookie. My girlfriend also gave me a 100 page study guide I can email you if you message me your email address. I looked it over for about 3 hours the day before the test in addition to the study guide here. Hang in there! You will be an RN soon!!!
  2. Congratulations!!! What an accomplishment :) I am so happy for you. I took my NCLEX today and am feeling stressed about it. It's weird when it shuts off at 75 and you know you either really bombed it or did well.
  3. @kookie100. When do you take your exam?
  4. I hope so...I just did the PVT and got the good pop up. I will keep you posted kookie100 :). Praying that I passed. In nursing school our tests had a lot of SATAS. I did well on those, because I studied in depth for the specific test, but I feel like there is too much to know for the NCLEX to be great at SATAs. I can only hope that I was answering them correctly. I had at least 35-40 SATAs As for the prioritization, I used the Kaplan decsion tree Stable Vs. Unstable and Expected vs Unexpected.
  5. I used Kaplan. Our school pays for it. I think its a good program. I am working with my IP, so I feel like I have not been able to study like I normally would. I scored 68.3 on the readiness test and in the 54-65 percent range on trainers. Mostly just did questions and re-mediated. I also looked over the 35 pg study guide on here.
  6. Just took my NCLEX today and it shut off at 75. There were so many SATA Questions!! REALLY hoping that I passed. Did the PVT and got the good pop up. Does this really work?
