First of all I completely apologize if this isn't the correct place to post this. If not pleSe redirect me to the appropriate place.. thank you. hellooooo all of you lovely nurses :) i have a couple of questions. i am currently enrolled at a technical college in the LPN program that will be finishing in early February. I was leaning towards taking a break but then i decided what's 9 more months? I need some clarification. I have my associates in arts which i stared to obtain when i was very young and very, very stupid. That being said, i have my pre requisites... but they dont equal a 3.0.. I'm short .08 points. i can't figure out how to attach a photo so i attached the link instead: Transition Nursing Program do you see at the top where it says pre reqs 3.0 minimum and then general academic requirements 2.75 underneath it says cumulative of 2.75 for pre reqs plus gen Ed requirements so combined i have a 2.93 but since my GPA with those four classes isn't a 3.0 that means i can't even apply? I don't have the option of grade forgiveness because my grades aren't "bad" enough. do i go and talk to someone at the nursing office? Or do i not even waste my time? I have an appoint at Kesier on Friday... but he said i will start from square 1 and none of my LPN courses, even with a license from the state board of nursing will not be counted... What do I do? What is my next step ?! I completely cringe at the thought of spending 48k for a degree when it can be obtained for so much less. That is not an exaggeration... im Iooking at the cost of attendance sheet right now. 7 semesters x 7300 a semester. Jeez Louise. someone please steer me in the right direction with some encouragement?
