I finally got my letter!!!!!
I received my letter in the mail monday and I have been accepted to the LVN program at WCJC. I am so excited to begin school. I was so anxious. To all of you still waiting I know how you feel believe me but the letter will come. I thank every one for all of their support.

I was initially going for LVN but everyone is telling me to do RN. I am a unit secretary at a hospital for telemetry floor. Any advice would be appreciated. How long would it take me to finish prerequisites?

I have applied to nursing school for the fall semester and if I am accepted it will take me a year to finish school. I want to buy a home because I have a one year old daughter and I know eventually we will need to invest in one. anyone have any advice?

Got the job as Unit Secretary!
It's going great. I am learning a great deal and everyone is so helpful. I ask the nurses questions about labs or tests being done so that I know whats going on with the patients. I hope that it really helps me when I go to LVN school. Thank you for asking!

Does reapplying to a nursing school frowned upon?
I am considering reapplying to Wharton County Junior College Vocational nursing program. I went there a few years back but had to withdraw after passing the first semester due to my father having a stroke. Do you think if I were to reapply this August I would be accepted. I know that I would have to restart the whole program. Also, for you LVNs out there is it difficult handling clinicals and classwork?:uhoh21:
