  3. Thank you for the reply. I do feel confident but should I be skeptical of the agency willing to hire me with 6 months of experience? Should I have insurance?
  4. I was offered an agency position prn for a medsurg floor. I have 6 months of medsurg experience. Should I wait till I gain a year experience before I consider the position?
  5. I received my letter in the mail monday and I have been accepted to the LVN program at WCJC. I am so excited to begin school. I was so anxious. To all of you still waiting I know how you feel believe me but the letter will come. I thank every one for all of their support.

  7. I was initially going for LVN but everyone is telling me to do RN. I am a unit secretary at a hospital for telemetry floor. Any advice would be appreciated. How long would it take me to finish prerequisites?

  9. It's going great. I am learning a great deal and everyone is so helpful. I ask the nurses questions about labs or tests being done so that I know whats going on with the patients. I hope that it really helps me when I go to LVN school. Thank you for asking!
  10. I was offered a fulltime position as a unit secretary today and I accepted. I'm so happy and ready to gain as much experience as I can! Just thought I'd share
  11. I plan on starting nursing school if I am accepted in AUGUST of 2007. I have recently started a job a doctor's office but I may be offered employment with a local hospital as a unit secretary and I wanted to know which experience would be more valuable?!

  15. I am considering reapplying to Wharton County Junior College Vocational nursing program. I went there a few years back but had to withdraw after passing the first semester due to my father having a stroke. Do you think if I were to reapply this August I would be accepted. I know that I would have to restart the whole program. Also, for you LVNs out there is it difficult handling clinicals and classwork?:uhoh21:
