I have not completed the entire process but here's my timeline to date: Background: RN (MSN-BSN)with 11 years experience (mainly ICU). location: Virginia May 2016-submitted application mid June 2016-interview late June 2016-tentative offer of employment first week July 2016-email with VETPRO instructions. Due within 48 hours of receipt. " " "-phone call from HR rep to make an appt to go through physical, fingerprinting, drug screen second week July 2016: above appt took approx 5 hours **bring a book!!! If seriously considering a position at the VA, make sure you have immediate access to your soc security card and/or passport or other form of acceptable ID in addition to state DL.** That's it for now...will update as the situation changes.
