  1. I wanted to relocate to California because it has always been my dream to live there for awhile after finishing my undergrad. But you are right...after researching many programs I have found that it is super competitive over there. I am also open to any ADN programs. Do you recommend any less competitive programs in the Midwest and South? I appreciate any advice.
  2. Hi! I recently graduated from USF Tampa with a Bachelor's in Health Sciences and a 3.3 GPA. I am interested in moving to California to get my BSN and am looking for advice as to where I should apply. Since my GPA is not very competitive, I would love to hear of some programs that I actually have a shot at since I am starting to feel discouraged. I will be using this next year in Tampa to take some pre-req's needed for California BSN programs, so maybe that will raise my pre-req GPA. I am at about a 3.4 for pre-req's right now. I would prefer an accelerated program, but I'll take whatever I can get. I would also prefer a public university located near San Diego, LA or San Francisco. I am currently working full time as a medical scribe in the ER and have gained over 500 clinical hours shadowing physicians and working alongside nurses. I am also planning on taking a CNA class next month as well as volunteering at a hospital nearby. I am hoping the experience helps my chances! I would love to hear back from you guys with what you think my best options are.
