  1. Hello to all, Currently I am half way through my nursing curriculum. I have two more full semesters of nursing and each one consists of "minies rotation", as they call it in my school. My upcoming semester consists of both oncology and psychiatry each one 6 weeks long, totaling 12 weeks for one full semester. Im pretty nervous about starting in September so I was wondering if any of you guys can give me feedback on how onco and psych went for you. Any interesting stories in clinicals and what to expect etc.. Thank You.
  2. This was kind of what I was thinking. Although I doubt I'd get hired as an ICU nurse right off the bat, but at least as a staff RN at my facility.
  3. Ah I understand. Thank you for replying!
  4. Hello To All Nurses! This will be my first topic as a new member. Currently I am in nursing school at Kingsborough Community College and half way through the curriculum. I am currently working at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY as a tech aide for the MRI department while attending school. What I wanted to know is if it will be easier to attain a job as an RN at the hospital I am working at or any hospital, given that ill have experience in a hospital already.
