  1. trav91, your gpa seems just fine. People with the same stats have been considered and not considered so it's hard to say. If I could redo the process, I would get my application complete as early as possible and make my essay much stronger. I was invited for an interview on May 15, and think it was just as a courtesy because of how late they are in the process for fall. I'm anticipating a rejection. It is a group interview. Be prepared with your elevator pitch, questions, and know that they emphasize team work and problem solving, not throwing others under the bus. Know your conversions and rounding for the math portion. The professors were nice. Good luck to you!
  2. Hopefully it means wait listed. Stay positive!
  3. I called yesterday regarding the in review/no interview folk and was told we would hear by mid May.
  4. We are still in the exact same boat! Trying to keep positive.
  5. If the last interviews were held April 14th, and they are required for admission, then why string applicants along who have not interviewed? It is so frustrating.
  6. I don't know anything anymore D:
  7. yes indeed!
  8. Still "in review", called admissions and was told that it doesn't mean you are denied and they are still making decisions. She said it could be another couple of weeks, but I am going to assume others will hear differently lol
  9. Does "in review" at this point mean rejected if we haven't interviewed? Or would it have to say "decision made"? So confusing.
  10. On an older thread someone was taken off the wait list in August! Anything's possible lol
  11. Good to know they're still going on. I was told a couple of weeks ago that they were finished. Seems the story completely changes depending on who you talk to. lol
  12. @jmendez622 thank you so much for sharing, I'm in the same boat and going bananas. Fingers crossed!
  13. Oh dear, it wasn't just FAFSA? That's all I did too lol and TAP since I'm from NY.
  14. No I'm still listed as an applicant and as "in review". Really frustrating how after a few interviews everything has seemed to just drop. At this point, I would appreciate a direct rejection at least!
  15. I haven't asked the office, but maybe decisions are sent out every Friday?
  16. Congrats zrzr!!! Yes blackberrymousse it was through email. Hopefully more good news today!
  17. I was notified about a missing transcript so they are starting to go through everything!
  18. Thank you to everyone who commented the encouragement to apply, I appreciate it. Was lucky to submit one letter of recommendation as well. I think this whole process can really drive a person mad, so once I'm sure they have all of my documents I am going to try and limit my Albert checking to once a week lol
  19. That's what I'm wondering. Are we even considered for the waitlist if we haven't interviewed? However, I've seen on older threads that a couple of people were randomly invited for interviews in July or August. Who knows
  20. Hi Guys, I wanted to see if anyone could give me some advice on whether or not it makes sense for me to apply at this point. I wanted to apply to NYU but decided against it, because I believed I wouldn't have my pre-requisites completed in time. I now have the time to get them done this summer (nutrition and develop. Psych.) and have 3 days left to apply to the program. I unfortunately don't have enough time to request a letter of recommendation from a colleague or professor, which I think REALLY hurts any chance I have. My first degree GPA is 3.6 and was in communications and marketing- I have zero healthcare experience as my career change was a quarter life crisis (another negative ) My pre-reqs so far are: Anatomy I & II with lab - A and A Chemistry - Lecture, A- Lab, B- Microbiology with lab - B Statistics - B+ Developmental Psych and Nutrition pending Any advice is appreciated. This is a stressful time. Thank you!
  21. My application still says "in review" as well, no email for an interview. I called pace and was told that after this week they may stop contacting for interviews.
  22. ^ I'm worried about what I've read too, because I'm sure more than 4 out of 64 students were hard working and dedicated in the program. I hope that any issues with the curriculum have been addressed since.
  23. I still just have "complete". Been refreshing the page like crazy!
  24. Same for me as well! Completed the day before the deadline.
  25. Congrats!! Thanks for filling us in. If you don't mind me asking, does your application status say in review?
