  1. Yeah that's smart to keep your options open!
  2. Have they not updated you at all? Definitely give them a call
  3. I got an email for an interview too. I don't think I'll end up taking it as I just got word that I'm accepted elsewhere, I'm not sure though as I do still want to keep UFV in consideration. Best of luck to you all!
  4. I got an email to my personal email, telling me to check my UFV mail for an important message. The dates for the sessions are the 12th, and the 13th. I'm sure they're just coming in batches! Don't get discouraged, keep your hopes up! Can't wait to hear from you all!
  5. Awesome, how exciting!
  6. Just about an hour ago. I was originally for the Thurs, but I'll just be coming off bereavement leave the Wed and work didn't want me taking more off, but UFV was really accommodating in moving my day! I hope you hear soon!
  7. Just got invited to the info session on Wednesday the 12th!!!
  8. Nope no email for an info session. Soon hopefully!
  9. Yeah I got the same email about a week ago! Best of luck to you all!
  10. I hope we will find out soon!
  11. Can you explain how the points work exactly? Thanks!
  12. That's all I've heard from them as well.
  13. Yeah I'm kinda paranoid too, but I guess we have to wait until Sept.30 then! All the best to you!
  14. For sure @katty24 I have 3 A's and 1 B. My reference who gave my hours is the nurse manager at my work (I'm an HCA) so she put the date I was hired, not my hours. I contacted the program and they said just the date was okay. This might sound cliché but I've really always wanted to be a nurse. Health care and the human body really interests me. There are two major times that I've really known that this is the career for me. Once was last March when I had the chance to work in a medical clinic in Africa and the other was becoming a health care aide this past year. It's really affirmed that I love working with and helping people from all walks of life. I've really enjoyed seeing how miraculous the human body is and I can't wait to go further in health care! What about you? Have you applied to the January intake as well?
  15. I've seen a couple pages like this for hopeful UFV nursing applicants and figured I'd make one for this coming intake. :)
  16. Good for you! Let me know how it goes for you! I've also created a page for applicants for 2017. "UFV 2017 January Applicants" @Katierosa
  17. Hello! I've applied for the 2017 Winter intake and I've just been looking for more info. I have 3 A's and 1 B And for my volunteer experience, I don't remember putting hours! Should I contact the department? It just said "dates" So I put the day I started my employment as a health care aide, and I've for sure gotten about 264 hours of experience so far, but I only put the date and I've seen everyone talking about hours! Where do I put that?!?! Thanks!
