  1. I studied almost 4 weeks. Went over AACN (ACNPC-AG) online review course few times (you get this free when you register with them), took Barkley review course Live. Many say that his CD's are same as his review course. I also studied from CCRN book and did many CCRN questions. All of this helped in some way. Go over each topic in their blue print , google it, use Medscape or pathophysiology book. Just have general idea not in much depth. Know the diagnostic tests. Hope this helps! Good luck!! There were no synergy questions just general ethical questions and couple research questions.
  2. Just took ACNPC-AG through AACN and passed first attempt! There are questions for cardiac surgery and management. Also quite a few ventilator questions. There are also good number of ethical questions but not too complicated. I studied their review course and "PASS CCRN" book especially for management of patients after cardiac surgery. If you are a cardiac surgery nurse it would not be that hard but it was little overwhelming for me to understand the concepts. Finally its all done!!! Good luck to everyone who decides to take this exam. Good thing is if you do not pass you can take it 4 times a year without much waiting period or CEUs except whatever it takes to re-apply which is$200 and 1-2 weeks.
  3. Has anyone taken the aacn acnp-ag cerification yet. Is the free review course with the exam purchase enough to study ? thanks
