Submitted my packet on Monday with a total of 34 points, unfortunately I got a call from the office that my application is essentially void because my signature was not on the letter I wrote requesting a waiver for my more than 5 year old A&P 1. Good luck to all, fingers crossed y'all get in.

According to people who have taken the critical thinking exam,there isn't much you can do to prepare for the exam. Most of the questions are quite straightforward from what I understand. As English is not my first language I have been brushing up on my vocabulary and comprehension just to be on the safe side as I get ready for the CT exam.I have no idea if that will help me any.I am taking the exam tomorrow and I will let you know how the questions are framed once I am done with the exam. I am so happy that I don't have to worry about dosage calculation anymore.That test was stressing me out so bad. To prepare for HESI I used the HESI Admission Assessment book by Elsevier, it was pretty thorough, I found most of the questions from the book were quite similar to the ones on the actual exam.

I took the dosage calculation exam this Saturday,still waiting on the results. How did you prepare for the critical thinking exam? I am nervous about taking it. I took HESI and made a 90 but taking it again in a February to improve the score.

So I turned in the immunization requirements last night and got an email today that I am in compliance. It's such a huge relief, because last time around I couldn't apply because of not finishing my Hep A series. I took the HESI for free at DNI ( got 90 for English, a/p 92 and math 92) I am retaking it Jan 26th at el centro.so I think that brings my total to 38. I am just worried because it seems like el centro is impossible to get into. Are y'all applying to any other programs as well?

Do y'all anything about the A&P time limit? Does Collin offer any waivers for classes that are older than 5 years?

have you tried to do a titer. I did one but it came back non reactive, so I have to just wait six months to get the second shot.

how many points are you all applying with? I haven't taken Pharmacology, Pathophysiology or Ethics. I only hard enough money for one class during the summer so I am taking Developmental Psychology. I am worried about my chances of getting in since I don't have all the support classes completed ,I think the website said minimum points required are 27 and I think if I get a decent HESI score I might apply with 28.75 scores :

I was shocked about this new requirement honestly did they just change it right in the middle of the application period.

Hello ladies. so I was also planning on applying to el centro for spring 2017 but unfortunately my Hep A won't be completed by the deadline. I was so sad that they changed the requirements for immunizations. Are any of you all applying elsewhere as well?
