  1. Thanks LiveOnBright for the info!
  2. I'm entering nursing school in August and would love your advice on which ATI study books I should get. There are so many study books out there - just want to know which ones worked best for you guys. Any hints?
  3. I just found out yesterday that I got accepted to the Accelerated BSN program at my first choice! I am absolutely thrilled! My program doesn't start for several months and I was hoping someone could give me advice on what I should do to prepare for the start of nursing school. Are there books I need to read, online courses I should take, lingo I should learn? Any info would be helpful!
  4. Good luck on your test if you haven't already taken it yet. I took it a couple of weeks ago and was so nervous. But I ended up getting a 89% and was very happy with that result! I used the ATI study guide to get ready for the TEAS VI, but I found that it was very general and I needed more information. It had been about six months since I took A&P, so I needed some refreshing. I found that I was able to dive in to subjects that I didn't remember as well if I paired the ATI book along with my A&P book. GOOD LUCK!!
  5. I've worked in an office environment for a long time and am strongly considering going back to school! Since it's been a while since I graduated from college, I have several prerequisites that need to be completed. I'm looking for guidance on timing. Do most people complete their prerequisites first, then apply to nursing school? Or, do most people apply to nursing school, then complete their prerequisites? I'm excited and nervous about the possibilities and am hoping that all the awesome veteran nurses out there can give me some guidance! Thanks, everyone!
