Montgomery County Community College Nursing Question
0Hello all, i am about to graduate with a bachelors degree this spring from a different university, but realized very recently that I would love to be a nurse. I live 5 minutes away from MC3, and I hear they have an excellent program. My degree i am about to obtain is in exercise science, so I have already completed a lot of the pre reqs and general education requirements for MC3's nursing program. I have a few questions: 1. Are the nursing classes only offered in the fall and spring, or are summer nursing classes a thing? 2. Based off question 1, it says the program can only be completed in 2 years full time, but with being done so many pre reqs already, can it be completed faster? any and all answers or advice is greatly appreciated thank you!

Cardiac rehab help
I am an aspiring cardiac rehab nurse, and I have a few questions: 1. would an associates degree be enough, or do most places actually want the bachelors? 2. Do most hospitals help pay (tuition reimbursement) for associates degree nurses to get their bachelors? And on another note, are online RN-to-BSN programs good, or is it recommended to do an on campus one? 3. Where would one start before going to cardiac rehab? Do ICU, CCU, and Telemetry units really prepare you for Cardiac rehab, and do they take on associates degree nurses anyway? I know this was all a lot. Any answers to any of those questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

@dishes nurses with a BSN or higher and exercise physiologists for the most part. I think more what I'm saying is: is the masters in ex Phys worth it, it will I make the same amount in cardiac rehab without it and just a BSN

Need help ASAP!
Hello all, i am am currently going into my senior year for an exercise science undergraduate. I was originally going to do PT school, however I feel like Cardiac Rehab is calling me. There are many ways I can go about this, and I was wondering if any of you could give insight since you may be on this inside of all of this. Should I just go straight to nursing school or should I get my masters in clinical exercise physiology first and then get an associates in nursing? Or.... Should I just do an accelerated BSN program to combine with my exercise science undergrad? Or... Should I attempt a direct entry MSN program? What im looking to hear is any and all advice on what is really needed to become a Cardiac Rehab "person". Thank you all for your time and can't wait to hear some responses!
