UNLV SON Fall 2016
@nature123 yeah of course! I'll see you tmrw @Julian08 I think 93 points is enough! Fall is usually the most competitive semester. But to be on the safer side, you could retake classes or retake the hesi to boost your points a bit more

UNLV SON Fall 2016
Hi everyone! I spoke to my counselor at UNLV, Mr. Wayne, and he informed me of the new policies for the nursing program. It is true that we are only allowed to apply to the program twice now, and he also said that the minimum points we can get on the calculation sheet is 88. Anything below that.. they will not accept. He also mentioned that they take the highest hesi scores first? I'm a bit confused as to what he meant by that because I thought our overall scores on the calculation sheet is what they used to determine if we get in or not. I mean, someone with a high hesi score could still get a lower amount of points on their calculation sheet depending on what they got in their science classes. I know some people who did better than I did on the hesi (my overall was 90), yet I still have more points on my calculation sheet because they got B's in some of their science classes. Anyways, seems like all of you are doing exceptionally well and will most definitely get accepted!
