RN-MSN program at Aspen University
Thank you for all the information you provided, I live in Florida and currently exploring my options for RN-BSN programs, Aspen sounds amazing, the low rate the payment plan, the freedom to take any non nursing credits I want and transfer them from Community college. My only fear is the accreditation, Aspen is not ACEN accredited, and not regionally accredited. What would that mean as far as job acceptance or trying to do my MSN in a different college? I know its been a while since you posted but I hope you see this comment Thank you

Aspen University Online RN to BSN
Hello everyone, I am considering my options and looking at schools for RN-BSN. Aspen sounds amazing so far, I can take any non nursing classes I want and they don't even make me take math.. my only concern is the accreditation. They are CCNE accredited but not ACEN accredited and also they are not regionally accredited so not every school will agree to accept me in case I want to do my MSN somewhere else. Anyone knows more about Aspen accreditation? Thank you

Breaking the contract with HCA
How long did you have left on your contract? What state do you live in?

Breaking the contract with HCA
Hi jaxjax, they actually made you pay it back? A lot of people told me they didn't. I am nervous about that because I am about to resign. My only hope is that I would be able to sign with parallon as an agency nurse later down the road.

Breaking the contract with HCA
when you start working for HCA as a new grad they generally make you sign a contract for 2 years in exchange for training. I know they don't generally make you pay them back for the training if you break the contract but I contacted parallon that is owned by HCA and wanted to sign with them, the recruiter told me if I break the contract I will be considered non workable and I will not be able to work for parallon or any HCA hospital. I'd that true? Anyone have experience with that? I am so tired of working weekends and holidays and just want to work per diem at a hospital, prefebly HCA..
