Adelphi Nursing Program Spring 2015 (not Path)
hi, Thanks for your offer to help. How many people in your classes have got kicked out of the program? How difficult is the exams? I might not get much of grants or fafsa because I have a bs degree. I might pay the whole tuition out of pocket or loans. Is it worth going to Adelphi? I'm missing patho and chemistry and genetics. Should I do it with Adelphi and get it over with or take it in another school? Thanks :)

I'm going to give it a try, hopefully I can manage everything, I'm thinking of going to the garden city location, I'm going to apply for a federal loan and see if that will help cover everything.

Adelphi nursing program
Hi, they didn't discuss anything with me regarding how to pay for college, they just told me to fill a fafsa application but from a personal experience, fafsa won't give me much because I have a bs degree and my husbands income

Adelphi nursing program
I currently got accepted to Adelphi BSN nursing, but I second guessing my self because of the high tuition, I have a bs degree and won't qualify for fafsa and grants because of my husbands income, how did you manage paying for your college cost, if you don't mind sharing your experience. Is the BSN duable for a mother of two toddlers? Any information will help.

Private nursing bs school or public nursing schools diploma
The advantage based on what I was told by adeliphi college, that I'll finish and get a bs degree in two years only, they said since I have finished all the pre reqs ,which is too good to be true, I think they say that to every student. The commute is less then 16min and parking is available. Other then that, no other advantage.

Private nursing bs school or public nursing schools diploma
I heard that hospitals are not hiring RN with just a diploma, so I have to transfer to a college that offers BS after obtaining a diploma. Adelphi private college would admit me on the fall semester in September, but LaGuardia community college I have to wait until March. I know there is not much wait between these two colleges, the only thing that I like about Adelphi is that my commute is only 14 minutes comparing to LaGuardia is 45 minutes, I don't know if that matters much but it's a little help considering my two little ones. I'm very confused. But I really apriciate your replying to me and help.

Private nursing bs school or public nursing schools diploma
Hi, I need your help! I'm changing careers, I have a bs degree and wanted to change and become an RN nurse, i can't go for an accelerated nursing program because I have two toddlers and one of them requires special care. I finished the majority of the pre req courses that most colleges ask for at LaGuardia community college with a GPA of 3.75, I have applied to several colleges and got accepted to Adelphi BS nursing program, and if I apply to LaGuardia community college, I will get accepted as well. My question is, is it dump to go for a private college? Knowing that I might not get any finicial aid or grants, and would have to ask for a loan? LaGuardia community college Cuny, I have paid everything out of pocket and didn't have any problem doing so because of the low tuition costs. I don't have any experience with private colleges. I will apriciate any advice. And advices from students that have attended Adelphi and would like to share their college experience and how they managed to pay for their tuition. Thank you so much.
