  1. Hello, all, My girlfriend, 35, is considering enrolling in MedTech to become a Medical Assistant. She has a bachelor's degree from a university in Thailand, but all the credits are beyond the 10-year window and no longer transfer, so she has to start over. We realize a degree from an actual university would be preferable, but given the time constraints (two full years at a Uni vs 9-15 months at MT; and we'd like to have children soon), we're seriously considering MedTech. However, I've read quite a few negative reviews online, and I've also heard that many places won't hire students from MedTech. I went with her to talk with one of their "advisors" and came away far from impressed; however, I'm new to the whole nursing program. Would we be making a mistake going ahead with the MedTech program? Thank you so much for any help!
