  1. Windsurfer8, I am not saying that that my "issues" are an excuse. I have worked incredibly hard to over come them and work as a functional student and I am succeeding. I understand I might be at risk for more mistakes because of my "issues". People have been telling me that since I can remember. That doesn't mean I am going to stop working towards my dream of becoming a RN. I appreciate your study advice, but I do not appreciate being stereotyped as a lazy student who uses her learning disabilities as an excuse for struggling in a difficult course.

  3. Hey guys I am currently taking A&P 1 and in July A&P 2 in two condensed 4 week courses because I thought that would be a great idea. On top of the already challenging high speed class I have dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, and short term memory issues. By some miracle I have an 86 with a week of class left (2 more exams and a lab practical to go). I really want to boost my grade up those last 4 points to get an A. The nursing school at my university is incredibly completive and I really want to get in. Do you all have any tips for study tips for a high paced class or A&P in general? I'm an incredibly hard worker and I'm willing to try almost any study tip you give me. Thank you all so much
