Hello all, I'm 31, finished my prerequisites this past summer and am applying to the Rutgers Accelerated BA to BSN program for the spring within the coming weeks. This will be my second attempt at applying, Director wanted to see my other grades as I was enrolled in the last two prereqs at the time of applying. I've recently spoke to a Rutgers Accel. student going through the Pharma and Adult Health portion who is also working 25 hours as a PCT. Ultimately, her and the class are struggling however she's at more of a disadvantage because she's working part time. My concern is that if accepted and choose to work part-time as well, things will not go well. If I do not work I will have to rent my house and move back in with the parents which is fine, what's 15 months in the grand scheme of things. I'm enrolled in a 3 month PCT program at RCGC this Fall to gain some hospital experience as I presently work in an office setting. Anyone presently enrolled in the Rutgers Accelerated 15 month program, thoughts on this? The goal is to succeed in school as quick as possible but don't want to set myself up stress and failure. Side note: I'm also applying to La Salle's ACHIEVE program for Spring 2018 as well as their full-time program. Thanks for taking the time!
