Ccbc nursing spring 2017
I was at the edge of giving up until I read stories online of students being contacted few days before the start of nursing school. At this moment I think it is best for us to go to CCBC to see what's going on. That's our best option especially when I heard that our semester starts next Monday. That's 7 days from now!

I called the school and spoke to an advising lady. She contacted the director of nursing on my behalf but she was told that he cannot share such information with her. I am planning on going there on tomorrow.

Well, we haven't received letters of rejection yet, which means that there's still hope. Hang in there. I will give them until Friday. If I don't hear anything from them, then I will sign up for classes and apply to a different nursing school for fall

On Google, type CCBC online bookstore catonsville. If your location is Essex, then type Essex. Then select spring 2017, and scroll down to nursing. Then I went to CCBC online bookstore and choose nursing 153. I purchased the books cheap on Amazon. Also try eBay. My stethoscope and BP cuff was also purchased on Amazon. Stethoscope is from Littman and BP cuff is from Prestige medical. I have been told it is very important to invest in stethoscope so that you can hear. Some stethoscope are so cheap that u can't even hear anything.

Exactly. It sounds crazy but I already went ahead and purchase some of books needed for the program. I have been studying a lot during the break. I Aready have my stethoscope, blood pressure cuffs and other necessities. Lol I don't like doing things in the last minutes. I also heard that nursing school have a long shopping lists. Therefore, we need to get ready financially. I have been doing that. I'm now just waiting for the result.

Ccbc nursing spring 2017
This is the beginning of January. I checked CCBC forum for Spring 2016 and saw that some of the students that were waitlisted fwere contacted on the 6th and 9th of January 2016. We are in this same week and i still haven't heard anything. Contacting the school for information is useless because they wont give it out. I spoke to the Nursing advisor for my position on the wait list but i didn't receive any helpful information. SMH... we have no choice but to continue to wait. This is like 3 months of waiting!

CCBC Spring 2017
Gwyn from Catonsville calculated my prerequisite GPA and it was 3.3. BUT my GPA on the CAS application is around 2.58 for the sciences and 2.98 for overall!!! I don't remember ever having below a 3.0 GPA in my entire life! There are few classes I repeated. 2 science classes actually. Does that mean they didn't calculate the highest grades of my repeated classes? Does that mean that the classes I retook, including microbiology, was in vain?

Wow that is similar to University of Maryland. It is good that I didn't waste my money and time applying there. We made a great choice applying to the ATB program. My prerequisites GPA is around 3.3 and I scored proficient on the TEAS with a 71.4 in reading. I know someone who got accepted into CCBC TOWSON with a 3.0 GPA. I'm sure we will be fine
