Don't give up yet! Wait until you get your actual results. Does your state have quick results? Have you tried to contact your state's BON? Prayers for you!!

Thank you. Maybe your correct about using the correct information to try it. To me in my opinion, it's just not worth risking $200. Especially if you state has quick results.

Person Vue Trick-It was wrong for me. June 2016
I am very sorry but your wrong. My results were on hold because of anything I did 'dishonesty'. They were on hold because I finished my test so quickly-straight from the mouth of a Supervisor at Pearson. Nothing at all about putting in an invalid expiration date. Thank you so very much for you 'insight' but unfourtantly you are wrong

Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!
When I put my debit card number and wrong expedition date and clicked submit it took me to a pop up that said "please include valid expiration date." Then shortly after I got an email from my bank about it. So therefore, it tried to charge my debit card.

Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!
Yes. You do have to go through with the whole process and actually click submit.

Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!
Maybe your right. I don't know. I don't believe I failed before the pilot questions were thrown out. But then again idk. I did really good in school and got a 99% chance of passing first time according to ATI. I did the Hurst review and did fairly well on their Q-tests too. All I know is when I did the trick that the pop up I saw was "results on hold." I couldn't tell you how many times I did it. Lol. Then 40 hours post test I got the bad pop up and 2 or so hours my quick results said I passed and this morning my name and license number are on my states BON website and I just signed my contract for my new job. Maybe having a hold delays scoring I am not sure either. I just wanted to share my story just in case anyone was going through something similar.

Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!
Maybe it was different for me because I had a hold on my results. I followed the instructions exact and the only pop up I got was "results on hold". Then the bad one where I was asked for a valid expiration card date. So that usually means you fail. Now I have read else where that you have to use a valid card and all the information must be correct for it to be right. I wouldn't want to risk being charged $200 and just give Pearson more of my money. It would have went through, if my bank didn't flag it. I have seen more people say if they got the good pop up after 24 hours, it's almost never wrong. But your test is scored twice. So if it's done before 24 hours, it may be wrong. It was surely wrong for me. I did every single step correctly. I did it at a few hours after and a few more times. I got the bad pop up 40 hours post test.

Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!
Oh and I called Pearson and the person I spoke too, told me that their system had a new update that posted this past weekend and would allow anyone to register for the exam REGARDLESS of they passed or not. He was very clear the $200 was NOT refundable. It will not however let you register if you pass when your quick results are posted or the nursing board has received your results.

Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!
Same thing happened to me. It let me go in click submit and tried to charge me $200. Thankfully, it didn't go through to my bank, but my bank flagged my card and I had to call the bank to get it fixed. If I had waited just a few more hours, my quick results were available and I passed. This morning the BON posted my RN license number. I know some say it works, but for me it did not and tried to charge me and I, indeed passed.

Person Vue Trick-It was wrong for me. June 2016
Hi everyone. I wanted to make a post because I just passed my NCLEX and have a license number on my state BON. I took my test Monday June 13 at 2 pm. I was done by 3:45 and the screen shut off at 75 questions. I felt horrible about the rest and cried all the way home. I tried to Person Vue trick about 2 hours after my test and it said my reaults were on hold. Now I know that you need to wait after 24 hours for them to be more accurate. So I did it at 24 hours and a few more times after and I did it at 40 hours and I got the bad pop up. I put in an active debit card number and a wrong expiration day and clicked submit and it tried to take my payment. The next screen said please enter a valid expiration date. I was devastated!! I just knew I failed. I was preparing myself to call my new job to let them know I didn't pass and was trying to find the words to tell my family and friends. I had done well in nursing school and I had a 99% chance of passing it on the first time according to my ATI score. I had done the Hurst review and did fairly well on their Q-tests too. I composed myself to call Pearson and ask why my results were on hold and why it was letting me register for a new exam and why it changed from saying its on hold to trying to take $200. I know everyone says if you get the bad pop up where it makes you pay, then your failed. So I asked him about it and he says their new update to their system will allow anyone to register REGARDLESS if you passed or not until the quick results are ready, or your BON receives the results. If I would have been a little more patient, and just waited a few more hours I would have saved myself a ton of heartbreak and tears. Because he told me my hold was temporary and my quick results would be available on today, Thursday June 16 after 12. But low and behold a few hours later Wednesday evening around 7:45 I happen to check the Pearson website and my quick results were ready, I PASSED!!! Now remember they let me go all the way through setting up a new registration and even tried to take my money (and my bank flagged my debit card) and I passed. This morning at 8am when my BON had posted my license number and I am officially a RN. I know many on here claim it worked for them and they passed. But the Pearson website updated their systems this past weekend. Maybe they got smart about the glitch. It will take your money even if you passed and it's not refundable. He made that very clear to me. So please don't do what I did and put yourself through needless hurt. It didn't work and I passed. There is still hope. Wait for quick their quick results and pay the $8 or wait to contact your BON. Glory to God that I made it through nursing school and I passed the NCLEX I could have sworn I failed!!
