i think the TEAS min has been increased to 78% in all subjects so u may wanna check that

Hi everyone, Do you know if they're supposed to raise the TEAS requirements for next year application? I still see 58% in their 2017 application packet!

Same name..so unprofessional and disrespectful. If this wasnt the only school I can afford, i would not apply again..

I feel the same. I think maybe this round of people are the first ones and if some can't make it to the orientation,they'll accept the next? Idk... sigh

They posted the mandatory date for orientation (NOV 30TH)

I did. Just dropped off documentation this morning. Hopefully this is a good sign...

After harassing them repeatedly for 2 days, i finally got an email about my application being processed today...

I NEVER got one. It is so upsetting!

I feel the same. They're raise the TEAS requirements next semester. Don't understand why they lowered them to begin with...

Just heard from someone in the program that they had 400 applications again... so if we don't have a 4.0 GPA and perfect TEAS we are probably not getting in yet again... sigh

I applied as well. After the disappointment in the Fall I'm kinda discouraged but hopefully we start hearing back soon. I think they give priority to the students that have completed co requisites (PSY, HLT, etc) since they tend to do better in the hybrid program. I hope that's the case since I've completed all of those classes!

Just got my rejection email yesterday. So crushing but at least now I know for sure. It is beyond ridiculous how long it took. I unfortunately cannot afford Marymount, I am on a visa that does not allow me to take student loans out and I don't have the money for it. I looked into Shenandoah University and although its like 1.30 hr from Fairfax, their "general studies" to BSN track seems reasonable and somewhat affordable. I think I'm gonna have to wait a full year to be able to make this happen which is super annoying but I guess everything happens for a reason. I haven't looked into Chamberlain but I think I may consider it as well! I have a feeling the Hybrid spring program will be as much of a mess and that everyone that was not accepted into the traditional will be applying to it which will make it just as challenging and competitive. I am almost too discouraged to apply and have lost all hope for NOVA. I asked about their probation status and they said they were "optimistic" it was only temporary...

Chamberlain and ither trade schools are way too expensive. UMD has a decent programI just havent looked into how out of state tuition would play out

Sucks for those of us who didn't have a plan B :-( I thought I had a pretty good chance and them changing the % of people getting into the program caught everyone off guard...

Why lower scores to open the application to more people if you don't inted on accepting more people. This is ridiculous. I was accepted last year to the Traditional Nursing program and opted out because i wanted to be more financially ready and I am regretting this decision more than I can explain...

I heard from people that are currently in the program that the whole thing is chaotic! The dean got fired and last I checked, they hadn't found a replacement. The school was actually on probation with the VBON. That may be the reason why they lowered the acceptance rate to 20% this time around!
