  1. what is the actual pay scale in the LV metro area for LPNs ? I work in Denver and when I search online at various sites like say payscale, glassdoor, indeed etc..NV is usually listed as one of the higher paying states. That said, when I look at actual job listings for NV they are substantially lower that in Denver. Again ONLY talking about lpn pay. top LPN pay for a staff member is generally about 42 ish . not seeing anything close to that in LV. love to be proven wrong of course. thanks for anyone adding legit info on the topic.
  2. Hi all, couldn't help but offer my two cents. I hire nurses (RN myself as well) and just wanted to add that, with this economy (at least in Denver), there is a huge nursing shortage. Part of that is from our legalized marijuana here, granted, but, i have so many openings for RNs it is hard to keep up. Whether you go to Concorde or Harvard doesn't matter at all as long as you have a clean license and can interview well.
