No. My boyfriend owns his own home on the southside. It's paid for so he wouldn't dream of moving and having another mortgage. Well I hope not to have a ridiculously hard time finding employment when I do move there. The memorial situation is discouraging í ½í¸•

Wow Savannah does seem to pay low. Coming from a much smaller city 3 hours away, and working at a smaller hospital, I thought it would be a little better. Starting pay at my hospital is 22 an hour with a 4 shift diff for nights and another 2 for weekends. Guess I better tighten up my budget lol. With all the money I will be saving (rent, lights, electric, etc) looks like it will go towards the cost of private school 😕 I did a quick search of local private schools and they all seemed to be about the same cost. I will contact them and see about a tour before the move. Thank you for the replies!

I will be relocating to savannah between December of this year and June of next year. We will be moving in with my boyfriend. The public school system has horrible ratings and I'm not thrilled placing my daughter in a high school with a 4/10 score. I'm looking into private schools. She will be in 8th grade this year (if we move in December) and 9th grade if we move next June. Anyone have any suggestions on which private schools are the best while not being too costly? And on that same note, I am an RN working on a med surg floor and will have 2 years experience this coming November. What am I looking at as an approximate starting pay at Memorial or St Joseph's/Candler? Having a hard time trying to figure out what I can afford if I don't know what the average pay rate is there and a Google search is all over the board between $24-35 an hour.
