  1. Hello Minika There are after degree nursing programs in Canada that you can get into but as has already been mentioned, they are very expensive. From your post, I have at least 3 things in common with you haha. So if you can pm me, I will be sure to direct you.
  2. Oh great! Congratulations on your acceptance and good luck. I intend to begin the prerequisites in Winter 2018 against fall. I hope I get in, maybe I will also apply to U of A Camrose site just in case... Did you get your prerequisites through Athabasca?
  3. Hi Jocebam, I've been looking for information about U of L and anyone who got in to their after degree program. Please would you mind telling me what your GPA was? Would you leaving it for Camrose?
  4. Thanks for taking the time to reply, even though you have no information it's still nice to see someone else saw the post. Thank you.
  5. No response still...does it mean no one here goes there? Anything will help please, friend's experience, siblings experience, anything generally since I've never been to both places.
  6. Hi everyone I am currently applying to take prerequisites for an accelerated nursing program. I have considered University of Lethbridge, University of Calgary and U of Sasks in the following order. While there's a lot of info on University of Calgary, am yet to find any useful info on the other 2 schools. I would love to hear from anyone in the programs, any info on getting in, how competitive is it? What was the minimum GPA when you were accepted? How's tough is the overall program? Are you getting lots of clinicals? How's the job prospect after school in the area cos I learnt jobs are hard to come by now. I plan to apply to the 3 schools thou but they all need different prerequisites and different start dates. Any info will be very much appreciated.
