Taking NCLEX-RN in 2 days (used Kaplan)
I am currently taking another class so I just focused on that class the day before. And then I went to the movies that night to get my mind off of it! I had to take the train into Philly the morning before my exam and I got there WAY too early. But they let me go back so I didn't have a heart attack waiting lol. Take a deep breath before you answer your first question, the first 75 go in a blink of an eye. Treat it just like another kaplan. Your best is good enough so don't freak yourself out halfway through! You made it through nursing school, you can do it! For the PVT trick, you used to be able to put a fake credit card number in but now you can't. And when I put my real one in, I didn't get the good pop up (put I passed). Don't do it, it'll just freak you out! Good luck to you!!

NCLEX Pass Rates vs. Graduation Rates
Completely agree, I graduated with a class of 18 people (started with 67) and our NCLEX pass rates were 95-100%. Looks good on paper, but hardly any of us made it out alive! Great program, but it was cut throat. I attended University of Pittsburgh (Bradford Campus). Anyway couldn't agree more.

Taking NCLEX-RN in 2 days (used Kaplan)
I took the test in a little under 45 minutes, and it shut off at 75. I wasn't too nervous during it so I think that's a good sign. How long did you wait to do the PVT trick? And have you gotten your results yet? I am so confused on how to look up my license on the state PA website.

Taking NCLEX-RN in 2 days (used Kaplan)
That does make me feel better, I've noticed that a lot of people do a quite a few percentage points higher on the readiness. Focusing on other school work not nursing related today and then gonna TRY to sleep at a decent hour. Thank you for your feedback! Good luck on yours as well... have to tell me how it goes!

Taking NCLEX-RN in 2 days (used Kaplan)
Posting for a little emotional support! I graduated from school May 1st 2016, and I had my Kaplan Prep course the following week. Took the diagnostic on May 6th, which said I had a 98.6% chance of passing. Since then I have used both Lippincott's NCLEX prep book and Kaplan. My scores are: QT1: 58.7% QT2: 56% QT3: 49% QT4: 58.7% QT5: 64% QT6: 56% QT7: 55% Q Banks- 57% overall, did 47% of all questions I've remediated all my tests but unfortunately did not get to the readiness test. I'm too fatigued and planned on taking the day before (tomorrow) off from questions. I just need someone to tell me I'm not going to completely fail based on my scores?! I've never felt this anxious in my life. Tips would be great on trying to relax. I just feel I can't possibly retain anything else in my brain at this point.

Army Nurse Corps? How did you know?
I have just graduated with my ASN and am about to take my NCLEX. I will be graduating with my BSN in 2017 and have worked for a full year as a med/surg floor nurse. I am very much considering Army Nursing. I have no relatives or friends in the military, and quite frankly I'm not sure the first thing of what to ask a recruiter. I realize it is different than enlisting, and I would be looking most likely at active duty. What I wanted to know was how long deployments usually are, are they always outside the country, and what does "Completion of a qualified course in public health nursing or one year of supervised experience" specifically mean? Should I study public health for a year? Lastly, how did you know it was for you? I don't have problems staying long periods of time away from my family, I don't have children or other means of roots at home. I know that I want to help people, I want to help soldiers, I want to help the public in times of need. I love to travel and I think it would be a once in a lifetime learning experience. If anyone could share their experiences that would be greatly appreciated.
