Yeah. I kinda figured it would be more competitive this upcoming sem since Manoa only accepts nursing students for Fall. Do you know if we'll get another letter if us alternates eventually don't get selected to be in the program?

Makes me wonder how many students they've taken for Spring 2017, and how many are on the alternate list. Hows our chances of actually getting in the program given that we are on the alternate list

I like Dr. McElhaney too. Old school but its working for me. A lil confused on some stuff but I think she is breaking the subjects down so its easier to understand. Crossing fingers. I hope we do. I am wondering when they'll be sending the letters out. Sorry Livy. I just recently deactivated my facebook.

Livy803 - I am getting excited, yet scared. I am hoping we get in. Your TEAS score is higher thou. I scored lower on my retake. Lol. I got 79.8, I think. My micro class is going okay. I have Dr. McElhaney. Who did you speak with among the counselors? I am wondering when they are actually going to send the results out. I am hoping for a good result but at the same time, I don't really want to get my hopes up.

Thank you Dominic. I called them to make sure they received my application, and I was told they did. Now, its just a matter of waiting for the verdict. Haha Hows your schedule so far? Is it too hard to work and be in the program at the same time? Have fun with your classes. ☺

Hi guys. I am just wondering how soon did the nursing department send out the notification that they received my application. I am just so nervous about the application. Just want to make sure they received it. I am not sure if I should call them or what. But getting an insight from you guys will help a lot. Thank you !

Btw, Dominic and NatCin, did you mail your application to the nursing dept or did you drop it off? I mailed mine so I am wondering how soon they send out the notification that they have received it.

Hi NatCin. Your teas score is high. The counselor said as long as it is at least in the 80's, the score is competitive. I took the pharm class online, Maui Community College, with Dr. Steven Farmer. I am retaking my Micro130 class too just in case I need to reapply. I am not sure exactly how they give points. All I know is that they give credits to GPR, co-reqs completed, TEAS score and experience. Good luck to us ! ☺

Oh okay. I hope I can improve my TEAS score then. I am retaking my micro130 next sem hoping I could make it an A. Just in case I don't get in at first try, then I can apply with all As. I am really happy for you. At least you are already in the program. I heard, thats one of the hardest part. Just gotta really work hard on keeping the grades up now.

Hi everyone! I am planning to submit an application for KCC's ADN program for Spring 2017. I am just waiting to finish my Pharm 203 over the summer before putting my app in. My stats aren't too good Teas - 80.7 Pre-req - 1 B and the rest are A Co-req - A in humanities, pending on Pharm 203 Health-related exp - been working as a CMA for 2.5 years. With a current CNA certification. Last CNA exp about 2-3 years ago. I am going to meet with a counselor sometime next month just to kinda see my standing. But I am wondering how everyone's stats look like. Kindly post, if you don't mind. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
