They just gave a generic response.

I received a denial this morning around 10am, I think they favored reapplicants and waitlisted people from last year. I will take it as a blessing in disguise and if I am not in a program by the next application I will reapply again. It's a fairly new program so alot of things need to be organized better to help the flow of things. Good luck to all of those accepted.

The last day of interviews was today, and someone told me last Wednesday, when I interviewed, that we would hear back in two weeks.

I also got placed on an alternate but I have an interview next week for my dream school! ? So hoping this one plans out

It is confirmed that it will still just be 15 seats since its a new program and they want to focus on the success of all students in their program.

I feel good about it and try to keep a positive outlook. If it's meant for me, it will happen, and if not, I'm okay with getting back up and trying again next year. I see it as part of the learning process and an opportunity for growth rather than a setback.
