  1. Pre-reqs or last 15 credits. Whichever is higher.
  2. Please post if you get an email so that we know!!! Best of luck to everyone.
  3. Just got this: The nursing division will soon start notifying students regarding their admission to the nursing program. Some of you will make and some will not. While the nursing division received many well-qualified candidates, only the top 24% of the eligible applicant pool will be accepted into the program. A combination of strong GPAs and above average TEAS scores will be the determining factor in this year's application pool. The nursing program just like any of our allied health majors are extremely challenging. Students that have demonstrated their ability to succeed or excel in their prerequisites tend to perform better in their chosen major and pass their respective licensure exams. We understand the emotion and hope tied up with applying to any program. We have worked with thousands of students over the years that did not make the cut. The students that really wanted it, dusted themselves off and made improvements. Either by improving a test score or achieving a higher grades on a course or courses. Student service staff are always on hand to act as a resource to help you plan your next step in the event that you are not one of those selected. We wish you all the best and hope to see you around campus this fall.
  4. I like this idea, though... Sending good vibes to all of you!
  5. Thanks for the update, Jennifer!
  6. That would be fabulous!!
  7. The GPA is either/or (whichever is higher), mine just happens to be pre-reqs.
  8. I haven't received an email either. I did get a confirmation that my package was delivered via Certified Mail. I have a 3.0 from pre-reqs, so I'm not doing much better.
  9. I was told by a Career Counselor at the MEC that they will only accept the first TEAS score. Maybe if it was taken elsewhere, the second would be considered (?). She told me that the GPA was really the only thing that made a difference. Previous degrees, veteran status, and TEAS test scores (only pass is necessary) were NOT taken into consideration when making the decision. Hoping for an acceptance letter!
