Hi! Looks like we'll be classmates. :) I'm a nontraditional transfer student too. 1. I have no idea. I am looking for answers too! 2. If you live on the bus line you should be fine. BU has their own bus system that has a route through the community. If you haven't secured housing yet it may be an issue. Lots of students sign their leases in May for the following year. You can make it here without having a car but you may have transportation issues once clinicals start as we have to provide our own way to get there. Carpooling is encouraged. 3. Binghamton is a far cry from Brooklyn but there is stuff going on. Downtown has some decent restaurants, art galleries, a few stores. First Friday is a popular event each month. There are yoga studios, gyms, small music venues, and college bars too. Good luck with your move to the area. Happy to help out if you have other questions.
