  1. Hey thanks for the reply. Yes I trust my mom with my daughter. My mom didn't raise me so we don't have to usual parent child relationship. My plan is daycare assistance once I'm in the program also. Around here we don't have a Lpn to RN ladder. You have to wait for someone to drop or flunk out. I could move and be debt free when I'm done. My concern is making enough money once I'm in school full time if I stay. I would need about 2500 a month and even working doubles on the weekend I wouldn't make that. Plus study time and time with my daughter. I don't see how it's done.
  2. I am currently an Lpn and want to finish my RN. My mom (who didn't raise me) offering my daughter and I to move in with her and go to school. Rent free and she will help with my daughter. I already feel burnt out being a single parent and working full time. I see people on here who stay in there own places and make it work. Anybody have any experiences with this? I love my independence but I feel like moving, working and saving money until I get into a program is smarter than staying and struggling. Everybody I have talked to agrees except my father. I think his opinion is more that he hates my mom and I would be moving 2 hours away. If I move and lose my job and great apartment and it doesn't work out I'm stuck. I'm recently divorced and I kinda like the idea of packing and moving somewhere new but still close. I struggle with making "permanent" decisions. 😬 Any advise is appreciated.
