Hey there! I am about to take my Nursing 1/Fundamentals Hesi exam. I need 56/99 points to pass the class and though that does not seem like a lot, I am still really nervous! lol So any study tips, suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thank you! :)

Hello! I have a pretty simple yet unanswered question that I would love some feedback on. I start Nursing 1 in a few weeks and I am still debating on which bookbag I should get for class? Some people say rolling book bags for nursing school are great, then other people say its not neccessary.. I would appreciate all of your opinions! :) Also, any suggestions on any school supplies or anything else that could get my hands on before class starts, that you would find helpful for the first semester of nursing school? (normally required or not) Thank you!! :)

Hey, Jasmine! Are you by any chance Pam's friend?? I'm Kevin's sister, Angie! :) Thanks for all the info girl! I'm about done with everything too! Just need to go back for my PPD reading and then upload my shot records. However, I do need to find some khakis and a watch so I'll check those out! I'm also attending the CPR class at Valencia on the 16th. As far as the SAP form goes, I submitted it about 2 weeks ago and have yet to hear anything back. Fingers crossed for some good news soon!

meydiaz, did yours come in yet? Thanks for the info on the BP cuff and penlight, I'm going to look into those today. Anyone else hear back on their Appeal for financial Aid? I'm ready to pay out-of-pocket if needed, but it would be a hugeee blessing to hear back something positive before having to pay for classes. We should look into making a Facebook page. I've seen a few other nursing classes do this and it seems like a great way to communicate, motivate and just keep each other in the loop. I'm in one of their closed groups gathering notes lol

Apaul0721, I just ordered my stethoscope from there too! If you don't mind me asking, what model did you get? I got the classic III, hoping thats a good one since I have zero experience with stethoscopes lol Also, which BP Cuff did you order? I still need to purchase that one.

I'm on another thread for Valencia's Fall 2016 nursing program, but figured I join this one aswell! The more helpful info the better! Can't wait to meet you all on the 15th! I waited for this for so long, now its all coming way too fast! lol I completed most of the things on castebranch, just waiting for the 16th for the CPR class and for my titer results to come back.. Oh, and the fit test.. Ahhh, so much to do, so little time! Congrats to you all!!

Did you have to get the education checklist plan reviewed by an adviser before submitting it? I want to go turn in mine today to get the ball rolling on that one.

Jserrano97, it awhile for mine to change. Keep checking it should change soon! Next step, is to try and go through the SAP appeal process. Let me know how that goes for some of you! I was one semester away from receiving my Bachelors in Supervison and Management in health care administration, then I got my acceptance letter from Valencia and said BYE! lol So I have way too many credit hours that is denying me for financial aid

Hey rrivera86, I registerd for the July 16th CPR class at the West Campus, but I'm not sure if it is still available to pick up. I would register for the next class ASAP just in case.

I e-mailed my change of major form too and my status just changed yesterday from "pending" to AS Nursing RN. I registered for the CPR class for July 16th at the west campus, but I'm not sure if its still available for others to register for. Does anyone know if there is a form we can print out to take to our doctor for our immunizations? I see the ones we need listed on castebranch I just didn't know if there was something we need to bring with us to our appointment? Thanks, guys!

I JUST RECEIVED MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER VIA E-MAIL FOR FALL 2016!! YAYYY!!! Anyone else get theirs too?! Ah, I've been waiting for this for years and now it is finally here. There's a bunch of things to get done in so little time! Meydiaz, it says that orientation will be on July 15th and class begins the week of August 29th. So your cruise dates should be fine! :) I have a cruise already paid for in September for my daughter's birthday, that I may now lose the deposit on I had no idea I would get accepted for the following term, but I am definintely excited about it!! Let the sacrificing begin lol it will be worth it all in the end!
