Hi all! I have been looking through posts on this website for a while now, and so I decided to join in. I seen answers for the question I have, but they are several years old, and so I'm wondering if anyone has any updated info/advice. I am hoping to get a bachelor's in nursing, and I have a bachelor's in another subject, but my old gpa is low at 2.67. I am finding lots of accelerated options, however, they seem to require much higher gpas than what I have. I am currently doing prereqs and getting great grades (my low gpa was due to being young and unfocused) and I am hoping to continue this trend. However, it will take forever to get my gpa up to a 3.0 and beyond that, it seems impossible to bring it up to a 3.5. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to apply? What schools to look at? I am willing to go through a traditional BSN if need be, but I am hoping for a bachelors rather than an AA degree.
