Remember that some of the books we get for free through that app. The books on the 1st page are the ones we get for free through the app. Then they list books by classes, those are the ones we need to get. I went to the bookstore and said I'm a 1st semester full time nursing student and they gave me my books... And it wasn't 13 books. If you want email me and I'll send you pictures of the books and explain everything better to you through email. My email is [email protected]

Are you full time or part time?

The books listed on the paper they gave us are the books we need. I already got them. The bookstore recommended only purchasing the 1st semester books as they are constantly changing them.

Does any one know when flu shots will be available? Or where we can get them already? Aren't they due on Aug. 1st?

I think it's something they ask for during flu season. There are no flu shots abailanle now.

MDC 2016 Fall RN GENERIC PROGRAM
Hi guys! I applied for the fall term coming up. My advice is don't listen to the "oh I heard this" because from what I have learned applicants usually have no idea what is going on. When I went to take the Hesi Exam I over heard two girls talking and one of them said "oh I heard that they send all the full time to Homestead Campus and all the part time to Medical Campus" and the other girl responded "oh yeah I heard that too". After hearing this I freaked out because I live in Miami Beach and I was applying for full time. When I went to apply I asked my counselor if this is true. She gave me a funny look and asked where did I hear this from. She proceeded to tell me that they have in total 150 seats. 100 in Medical and 50 in Homestead. So they first fill in the 100 seats at Medical and then fill in the sits in at Homestead. So depending how well you did (how high you ranked between those 150 accepted students) and where you live that is what campus they will place you in. I wrote my counselor an email asking when should I expect to hear back from them. This is what she had to say for anyone wondering: "You will be notified whether you are accepted or not around the middle of June. I would recommend that you begin to check your email twice a day so that you don't miss any correspondence related to the admission decision." I hope this helps as I know everyone is probably anxious! At least I know I am. Good luck to everyone! And as soon as anyone gets an acceptance letter/email or any news let us all know! :)
