  1. Problem applying NCLEX in CA

    Hi, I am applying for approval to take the NCLEX-RN exam in California. I graduated from a university in Japan with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and worked as an RN in Tokyo for 6 years. This last December of 2015, I graduated with a second BSN in CA . I submitted a complete application to the Board of Nursing in hopes of receiving approval to take the NCLEX-RN exam, but I have not received a reply in 1 month. How long have others waited for a reply? Because I graduated from a California-based BSN program, are my chances high that I will be approved to take the NCLEX-RN exam? I made sure that my past coursework satisfied their requirement criteria. Thank you for any suggestions or feedback you may have.
