  1. Hi guys, I spoke to the bookstore and was told that there will be an book package for those enrolled in the accelerated program. This book package will cost about $376 (comes with pharmacology practice quiz) and will consists of the textbooks needed for the first and second semester. I believe that the package will become available towards the end of next week. I'm not sure which editions of the books they will be, but maybe once they are in we can compare prices with other competitors. thanks
  2. Hi guys, The Tdap is available for free, depending on your health insurance, at CVS. The pharmacist administers the shot. If you need shots, try CVS as they can administer a variety of immunizations...
  3. Congrats!!! That makes 3 of us so far, looking forward to meeting you on July 28th!!!
  4. Hello, Try nursingunlimited.com, they have more availability but they are pretty expensive. They quoted me $103 for the CPR/BLS. Good Luck
  5. Hello, Send me a friend request on via this blog and I will provide the information e-mail information.
  6. Hi Guys, If you have insurance, go to your primary healthcare physician and see if they can run the titers. You will probably end up paying only the copay. The MDC Health Clinic charges $340 to check the titers and if you need a vaccine they will charge an additional $70 to $100 for the needed vaccination. My doctor does not do the drug panel but the MDC health clinic will do that for $30 and they said no appointment is needed. Good Luck!
  7. Hi! I was waiting to hear from someone else that is doing accelerated. We are going to need all of the support that we can get. I'm all for doing a facebook group for class of 2017.
  8. Congratulations everyone!!!!!! I got accepted to both accelerated and generic F/T!!!!! Please let me know if you are going to attend the accelerated program as this is my first choice. One year of insanity!!!! I can't wait to meet my future classmates!!!!
  9. Good luck everyone!!!
  10. I have not heard anything either. Do you think we will hear something before the long weekend? I'm thinking after...
  11. I think you have a chance, just think positive. It depends on how many people apply and how many actually accept to be a part of the program.
  12. Hello, I heard that there are 50 seats in accelerated, 100 seats for full time and 50 seats for part time students. I am following grace&hope's advice and just think positive.
  13. Does anyone know how many applications were submitted? We only have six pages of postings, previous years had three times the amount, I wonder if this is an indication of the number of applicants?
  14. Hello, I wish you all success this coming year! I received an 86 on the HESI and have a 4.0 on my science gpa (cum is 91.60) I applied for the accelerated program starting this August 2016. I heard that we should hear something as early as June or as late as July. Good Luck everyone!
