  1. As an upcoming graduate of the EKU PMHNP class I can tell you it is an absolute nightmare for 3 of the last semesters. One professor teaches 3 major PMHNP courses and is extremely random on test content with no correlation from her lectures. Many students have taken their concerns to the head of the department. It's as if they take the first 25K of your money then weed out many at the near the end based solely on inaccurate and subjective standardized test questions which are nearly impossible to prepare for. There are over 200 more clinical hours to fulfill than most programs, more proctored exams with higher weights, and a high fail rate near the end. I would consider a program with lecture-based exams, lower hours requirements, less weighted proctored exams, and better attrition rates.
