  1. I bet you picked nursing out of high school
  2. Get over yourself.
  3. Did that hit too close to home?
  4. I belong to a physics, chemistry, biology, some writing, many football forums. It's nothing personal.
  5. You are the best thing to happen to every 35 year old single mom. I wish I could hug you. I know that I didn't choose you but I love you. I thought I couldn't choose you cause of my criminal record but thankfully that was fine and I could be with you, but I knew I couldn't be with you and feel whole. I am sorry but you will find another single mom. I think it's over no community college nursing school please understand. What did you say community college nursing school what about my daughter. My daughter would never be with someone like you. This is my serious post and my last post. I don't have a love hate relationship with nurses what I hate is women not wanting to try and be more. I think nursing is a great career and I really mean that. I am not angry at the 35 year old single mom I am one too. I am angry at our education system that doesn't have more options for women that pays enough to support children. I wish you all the best and I hope you all are successful. Have a great life
  6. Is the nursing program as popular with students at universities as it is in community colleges? I am going to a community college and I eventually want to transfer to a 4 year institute and get a bachelor's. I have no idea what I want to do but I know I want a bachelor's. I am having fun right now just learning, and figuring out what I'm good at it, and don't want to rush and pick a major yet. One thing I know is I don't want to be a nurse, and I think I am the only female in the whole school that isn't trying to get into the nursing program.

I went and read my post and realized that a chunk of it was missing, it was missing a few key items that expained specific events i had with nurses and profiling I didn't realize had disappeared. I see now why there was confusion, so I apologize. I am especially sorry to Been there done that. I am not trying to create drama, I was wrong and I'm sorry
  10. I had a problem with that security staff not all security staffs, and yes it dawned on me that nurses can be nice, and cause of that incident I realized I had unfairly judged them. I thought it was awesome how that nurse was the only one who helped me out, and since then I have met other nice ones, but if it wasn't for her then no I probably wouldn't have changed my mind. I don't need to explain myself, I wasn't trying to make friends I just said that, I was wrong and I admit it. I have been there done that going off on me, and other nurses
  11. I agree and I admit I unfairly evaluated a nurse based on unfair characterizations. It seems nurses are guilty of it just as much, look at the way you all attack when I said that I had a problem with nurses, and admitted I was wrong. I said I apologized, and I was wrong. I know more profiled nurses than they profiled me as a patient. It's a vicious cycle and no one but security guards are the winners, i'm joking.
  12. My issue has to do with nurses being nice not nurses who are brain dead
  13. Been there done that, you can go back and reread what I wrote. Also my sister isn't more important than any other nurse, you're right, cause she isn't a nurse, I said she was a department director and is a big deal, she has an office with her name on the door, so sorry you suck
  14. I had some issues with being a victim of profiling eat the hospital my sister works at when I went to visit her for lunch. I got lost and ended up in the ER and I had asked security for help and I told them she was my sister they accused me of lying, and said what's her pager? I said crap she told me it before, and I forgot, it's some pager they use to verify if someone is legit, I only needed the last 4 digits. My sister is important she is a director of the respiratory and pulmonary unit, so the security guards were like how do you know "An**" sorry don't want to say her name, and I asked them if I could use a phone to call her cell, and they said no. They threatened me with calling the police. This nurse who I guess had heard came up and said are you Ma**, I said yes she goes I paged An** for you she is on her way. So I am grateful and I realized I was accusing nurses of doing the same thing I was, profiling them and judging them based on things they had in common with certain types of nurses. Do you think profiling is fair or accurate? I hate to say it but I have noticed that it's schooling that seems to be an issue of a nurse being compassionate or not.
  15. Why did I ask that question why are half the questions asked? That's what this person described their job as, and I didn't believe it was a real job?
  16. I figured it out it's a Nurse Case Manager.
  17. Does it give time limits on the convictions or lifetime ban?
  18. I still want to do nursing school and I don't care if I work as one. I want to do law school and nursing school. I feel like I missed out on a lot of education with my addiction and past that now I want to learn and get degrees. I can't explain it a college degree to me would mean just as much to me as the birth of my only daughter. I want to get several associates degrees and one Masters the law degree. I want associates in nursing, archaeology, biology, and that's it. So my question is can I go to nursing school just for the education and maybe I can get hired at a job, or not?
  19. A company that hires nurses to help determine how much longer a patient needs to safely get off a Rx when the insurance company won't pay for it, usually it's workmans comp claim, and is usually a narcotic?
  20. I meant to ans this better. Ok the next time you don't hear from a dr. and the operator says she will page him tell him/her to please try his cell or residence. I will only try twice and then I'm calling and waking up the wife or g/f b/f or husband. Sometimes Dr's forget to turn up their text msgs. So um where do you live? What state? I'm Colorado.
  21. What do you mean they don't wait for an answer? They say so and so office can you hold and just don't wait for a response. If I knew it was a patient I would seriously do that, but I get worried it might be a nurse or dr for a consult
  22. You don't sound judgmental and I don't take it as criticism since I know all these charges are one time issues. Besides I hate butt kissers keep it real
