No nothing yet. In the email did say that we wont hear from a recruiter about on boarding until the end of june up to the second week in july. So we still have a few weeks of radio silence left sadly.

Are the differentials added on during residency or is it just that flat rate of $24.68? My offer was for mother/baby. How do you like the unit. Be brutally honest. How is the staff, patients, charge nurses? Do you get floated to L&D, ante partum, NICU? How is scheduling? Is it daytime 9 to 5 for the first couple of weeks or do you automatically start at nights? Does it vary between days and nights? I have a trip that was planned prior to being accepted, will they work with me with this or should i cancel it? The cohort starts august and the trip is the end of december into january. How are holidays and weekends. Is it every other weekend/holiday? For example, if I was to work christmas would i get new years off? Sorry for all the questions. I'm trying to get as much info as possible because im relocating from another state and im trying to make sure i transition smoothly but they are so hard to get in contact with to ask these questions. I interviewed for mother baby. It was a panel interview of 2 people. I had a single interview not a group one. It was pretty laid back. The questions were all behavioral and very straightfoward My best advice is to just go in there be confident but most of all just be yourself. Let them see how passionate you are for the position you want. Good luck!!

Yes. Pediatric_Nurse2Be is correct. I called Kimberly to ask about it. From what I understood is that the unit managers create a list of final candidates in numerical order. That list is what is sent to some committe to approve or not approve offers. A unit has to take at least 2 candidates so if you are either #1 or #2 on that list for your department your more likely to receive and offer letter since they have to take a minimum of 2 candidates. So I'm assuming the further down the list you are is where your chances start to decline. It all winds down to how many spots is open for the residency for that specific unit.

Check your emails. Shortlisted emails were just sent out and within the email they said offer letters wil be sent in a few weeks.

Nope nothing. Everyone is literally playing the waiting game. The letter can come as soon as tomorrow or as late as June. So i don't know. I guess it's up to you whether you want to accept another offer or wait for them because you haven't signed a contract yet it shouldn't be an issue. But let's just hope they send it out sooner rather than later.

I finally got in contact with Kimberly today. They are waiting for the committe to approve the offers. Once that is done official offer letters will be sent via email. The residency starts August 5 and onboarding will be the month of July. So hopefully we recieve the official offer letters sometime in May. She said she can't give an actual date cause she is waiting on them as well but defintely before July. So just keep stalking your email. That's what I am doing!

I spoke to the recruiter for women's health about 1 week ago. I know the NICU residency is closed because they filled them with internal candidates. Mother/Baby is still open and they are scheduling interviews. It might be easier to get an interview if you speak to the recruiter directly. So my suggestion is find the recruiter for the department you're looking at. Most of them are on LinkedIn then send them a message expressing your interest. I can't speak for all the recruiters but the lady for women's health was very receptive and always answered me in a timely manner.

I received a job offer for mother baby. I heard from the nurse manager on the unit but she told me the recruiters are the one that sends out the official offer letters and contracts. I honestly think they are just really behind because I was told by wednesday i would have my offer letter and i still dont have anything yet. Just keep calling and leaving voicemails. If i here back from anyone i will let you know. Congratulations by the way!
