  1. If nursing is what you want, I would definitely go for it. I've been a nurse for a little over a year and I love it. The great thing about nursing is that there are so many opportunities. You don't have to be stuck working too many hours or with a bad schedule. It just depends on what type of places you are willing to work. Clinics are usually monday through friday, 8-5. And home health agencies are usually great with allowing you to make your own schedule. You should look into yhe different types of employment opportunities out there. There are so many. I'm sure you can find something that suits you if nursing is what you want.
  2. If I were you, I'd wait for an opportunity that I really want. You don't want to be stuck in a position you don't like and it's not good to leave your first job quickly. There are always places needing good nurses. No need to rush into something.
