  1. Hello, I was wondering if there are schools that accept your chemistry and biology classes with labs if they were taken online? I work full time and do not live somewhere that I can take evening or weekend classes. Also do you have to get licensed in the state you go to school in? I was thinking of applying to schools out of state. Thank you!
  2. Hi, I was just wondering if you ever got hired by a hospital or how things turned out? It has been a few years so I figured you have an update. Thanks!
  3. I have a misdemeanor that will likely get expunged after I finish nursing school but I will have to wait 2 years before it can be expunged. I was told, "The Nevada State Health Division will not allow you to work in any capacity in a facility for intermediate care, facility for skilled nursing, home health care, or a residential facility for groups." I am wondering what this leaves as an option? I assume immediate care means I wouldn't be able to work in a hospital ER nor a quick care facility. Where would I be able to work? Thank you
  4. I am doing my prerequisites for surgical technology (nursing kind of scares me) with hopes of becoming a first assistant after 3 years and am wondering if these professions recieve inflation increases? I saw a cst post that she has been in the field for 10 years and still makes 20$/hr. I have a side business which helps pay the bills but I am aware rn's make alot more than cst's do... I just don't think I would be fit as well for nursing as I would as a cst. This is off topic but I have assisted oral surgeons and loved it; I am hoping I will like being in hospital ORs as well. If hospital lpn's/cst's don't get inflation increases is it worth going into? I found a thread that said rn's do get inflation increases which is great! Thank you.
