  1. I submitted a "reply" but it has not posted...so trying again There are many agencies out doing this for Humana. What you want to look for is what they have to offer you, ie: Simple IRA's, CEU's, Bonus', Strong CM Support and education, Scheduling freedom. Most of the Agencies are PER DIEM, so getting any benefits is huge! I think if you check with this particular Agency, you will find that they offer all of this and more. They also only ask you to go only 25 miles from your home and then fill in members in the between so the driving makes sense. There are a lot of tricks to getting the "paperwork" done quickly and painlessly...that is another thing this Agency works with their CM's to find the best time efficient methods. This particular Agency only advertises in areas where they see a big need. They request a minimum of 10 members and a max of 35. This type of work isn't for everyone. It is definitely something you need to be a self starter, able to work independently and have strong time management skills. If that is your strong points, this would be an excellent opportunity. Also to note, Humana does not hire LPN's, only RN's whereas this Agency can utilize LPN's that have 3 years of Care Management experience as well as RN's that have 1 year Care Management experience. I guess what I am saying is, not all Agencies are alike - check out their web pages, their benefits, their management that you deal with and make the best choice that works for you! Good Luck.
