  1. I failed my NCLEX the first time on February 23rd of this year. I just took it again on Monday and found out I passed yesterday. I failed the first time in 265 questions and then passed this time in (roughly) 150. The first time I did Kaplan and NCSBN. This time I did UWorld. I absolutely loved UWorld. The rationales were awesome. & lengthy. It tells you why a question is right and wrong. I highly suggest the UWorld NCLEX app. It's not very expensive either.
  2. 4 years in The Marine Corps got me free nursing school. & the benefits are endless now. My husband and I both went to school on the GI Bill. The Marine Corps has provided me with experiences I would not trade for anything! The only downfall now is that I just graduated in December (passed my NCLEX yesterday) and I will be 31 next week. I may have started my journey to be an RN later than some but I do not regret joining the military!
  3. April 18th must've been a good day to take the NCLEX! I took it on Monday (2nd attempt) and found out yesterday that I PASSED too!!! I did NCSBN and Kaplan before the first one and this time I did UWorld and passed in (about) 150 questions. I failed in 265 the first time so once it went past 75 this time I just figured I was in it for the long haul again. I really wasn't paying attention to the question number and then all of the sudden the screen went blue and I thought to myself.. "Did it just END?! OMG OMG I had to have failed!!" Anyway, I live in Illinois and no one around here I went to school with had ever heard of UWorld. The only reason I did was because I talked to a guy I was in the Marine Corps with, who lives in Texas, said his wife used it and she LOVED the rationales. So, from now on I recommend UWorld!! So, I just want to say Congratulations!! It was hard failing just one time, I couldn't imagine doing it SIX! I am proud of you for not giving up! It is inspiring!
