I have a MSN as well so it will be great to see how it plays out! I work as a full time nurse educator in the government so my work life is sooooooo much lighter than civilian world n I'm on a compressed work schedule with every Monday off but can change it as needed . I'll try to get through!

Hello and thank you ladies. By the grace of God they wrote me a letter for my scholarship. I did get in !!! They told me I would not get an official letter until today (meaning Friday) due to their system being messed up. Sad to say I won't believe it until I see it. This has definitely been a process. sarabeth123 please keep me updated ok:)

I literally just emailed a faculty. I actually have a scholarship due by 5 pm today that could possibly pay all my tuition and books. It would hurt my heart to know I missed out due to not having a letter of acceptance. I did my part. Well let's see!

Got an email they say DNP will know tomorrow due to glitch in system! We shall see!

MY DNP peeps still hanging on we are a week out and no answers yet! This is a long process! I got scholarships due Thursday by 730pm hope I make it need a decision.

Th second group of interviews for the DNP/FNP there were only 11 of us on Friday. I guess we will get answers next week and this entire waiting game will be over!

Yes the PCCN by ACCN (American association of critical care nurses) and when you buy a review book get the second edition by Ann Brorsen (PCCN certification review) on Amazon . Go read the reviews I think you will like.

I am a nurse educator n critical care nurse. I suggest you buy a PCCN review book and use that as your reference. That way you will also be preparing yourself for certification down the line.

No I don't have liability insurance for my LLC. They charge me 3 bucks a card whether it's BLS ACLS or PALS I'm an instructor for all 3. I send over a list a head of time of my class n they email me the e cards so I have them available the day of , I also have a graphic designer who does all my advertising. I can take payment in any form. Also going rates in Washington DC area BLS 100 bucks 2 years n 180-200 for acls n pals. I can buy cards ahead of time as well. But with e card no longer have to do that.

just an update i received email on the group interview which i will attend this week. Just getting ready for this paper we must write once there. Anyone heard any feedback regarding this? Is this a new process? A friend told me it being non mandatory usually means a new pilot they are trying to see if this will help them in the future.

I am starting my own business as well. I am connected with a training center but the only requirement I have is to purchase my cards through them. I got my own LLC and compared what others were charging in my area and took it from there. I also purchased my own mannequins. Hope that helps.
