  1. Thank you for your input! We do currently live in the Bay Area, so that's why SF.
  2. I am feeling super conflicted about deciding between two nursing programs. I'm hoping recent grads or perhaps even current RN students can share some input on the specific programs. One is an ADN program at Santa Barbara City College and the other is SF State University's BSN program. They are both the same amount of time, SBCC is much cheaper but I only get an associates degree out of it, and Santa Barbara is where my family lives. I'm worried that the SF program isn't "family friendly"... The SB program seems like they really understand that people have kids or have other things going on in life and will help you when possible, so long as you communicate ahead of time. The SF program I'm not so sure... I'm worried the SF program is uber competitive between the students and that's just not the type of environment I'd like to be in. Anyone have the general schedule of the SF BSN program for 1st semester? Anyone have experience with getting and ADN and then finding a program for RN-BSN - did you do this before or after finding a job? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
  3. I am waitlisted and received an interview on April 28th. Can anyone who previously interviewed on March 31st comment as to the format of the interview and any helpful tips? The email I received said it would last about 15 minutes, so I'm assuming it's just one student at a time then..it can't be group style, right? That seems much too short for a group interview. If you are comfortable sharing examples of questions you were asked, that would be helpful too!
