  1. Did you get the nurse corps or the NHSC scholarship?
  2. I called this morning as well and she wouldn't tell me anything. I applied to both the Nurse Corp and the NHSC scholarships, both "under review", no credit pulls at all. I'm guessing at this point all the funds are probably ear marked for those who received COIs. ? I just wish since they do rolling acceptances, just do rolling denials as well, so we don't sit through this for months and months.
  3. I think he thought that person got a credit pull today, but they did not. ??‍♀️
  4. Still no credit pull here. I applied for both nurse corp and NHSC scholarships, applied for DNP FNP, strong community background and community recommendations. Was told my applications are "still under rview" but I imagine if we don't have a credit pull by this coming weekend, we are probably out.
  5. I also received an email on 8/20 stating my application was under review. I know COIs for the nurse corp scholarships started coming out this week, but I have not received anything. ??‍♀️
  6. I withdrew from my spot in the FNP program (for a different school) yesterday. Good luck to whoever gets it! ?
  7. I don't believe they do, however, I bet they have a good network with alumni that you can network to find them. I originally reached out on a facebook form for nurses in my surrounding area to see who has gone through FSU to start trying to network clinical spots that have been recently utilized.
  8. It is my understanding that it is a strictly online program (minus the immersion in the 3rd term). And you are responsible for finding your own clinical sites, so they would be local to you. If you are interested.
  9. FSU's application deadline is 7/1, but they review applications on a rolling basis.
  10. In the past I think instead of waitlists they drew out the acceptances out over weeks and weeks.
  11. I just got mine! I'm in! FNP! Good luck to everyone still waiting!
  12. I just meant since this is the year that the gov't changed everything and are seriously delayed in releasing all the info for the year to the schools.
  13. I wonder if they are trying to wait on FA awards to be released, so FA can start putting together everyone's packages.
  14. I applied to FNP. I also applied to FSU (received acceptance last month) and Johns Hopkins (I interviewed with them yesterday). Just playing the waiting game.
  15. I did check their calendar and they are open Friday. I know some schools close, but they are not.
  16. Interviewed for DNP FNP yesterday with ------------------------. She said it was a good interview, but who really knows.??‍♀️ Now the wait begins. Preparing myself for a 2 month wait based on previous posters.
  17. At least we know it will be Thursday/Friday towards the end of day whichever week is it based on previous years. I just don't want to do the ridiculous week after week waiting, all the way through April like years past. Please let them send out all acceptance, denial and waitlist emails the same day. It seems what the applicants have gone through in years past is torture.
