I live in MN. We have a new program here where you get a Bachelor's degree in 3 yrs. 1.5 yrs for the 2 year degree, and then 1.5 yrs at an affiliated university for the 4 year degree. I definitely agree that if they see you are continuing on for the BSN they are more likely to hire you.
I graduate this month and having been applying to nursing jobs in hospital settings with no luck. I currently work as a nursing assistant in a hospital. I also have a bachelor's in another field. The nursing degree is a 2 yr degree but I plan to continue on for the bsn. Anyone willing to share their experience with finding their first nurse job?
