  1. Thomas Jefferson University FACT 1 program vs University of Miami accelerated nursing prog

    Crevans posted a topic in School, College Programs
    So I have been accepted to both Thomas Jefferson's FACT 1 program and The University of Miami's accelerated program. I am from Pennsylvania so TJU would be an easy transition and I was leaning towards Jefferson. The new strict policy on grading makes me nervous. Any class grade below a 77 and you're booted from the program. I feel like I am a serious student and always got good grades. Also I've heard horror stories on this site regarding the financial aid department and comments on how the program is disorganised. That being said I know all programs have ups and downs. University of Miami also appears to be a great program but I have not found much info especially regarding the current nursing program. Any suggestions/opinions/reviews on either program would be appreciated! I have to make a decision by this Tuesday for Miami and Wednesday for Jefferson. -Chris
