Hi! Most, if not all bridge programs start in the summer. Davidson CC starts in fall but requires you to work a year. I've looked at basically every single college in the state. Don't have any regrets, become an LPN get your feet wet for a few months and get into a bridge program. The time will fly!
I totally understand your predicament. It really depends on if you're looking to save time or money. The community college route is always cheaper. That's the route I took. I live in Charlotte and drive to Winston Salem to attend Forsyth Tech. I thought about ECPI and Queens but I've accumulated student loans from previous schooling. What universities are you looking at?
Don't limit yourself to CPCC, there are tons of other community colleges in the area. Gaston College, Stanly, SPCC, Rowan Cabarrus and others. You may have to drive a little further but you'll save money in the long run.
